Airline Flight Academy, an approved training partner of Ryanair, are delighted to offer both the UK CAA and/or EASA APS MCC course format for either Ryanair or Whitetail APS MCC. The most popular is the dual UK CAA / EASA APS MCC.
All AFA APS MCC Cadets are not only trained using industry leading Ryanair SOP's from Day 1 of their course but also receive world class training and continual mentorship from Ryanair's Flight Operations Dept. This provides all graduates with a distinct advantage at the final Ryanair assessment.
The training is performed on Boeing 737 MAX Flight Simulator.

The Whitetail APS MCC course follows the below guidance as stated below - but does not require an application process, once a valid ME/IR is obtained.
Cadets on a Ryanair Mentored APS MCC receive:

Application and Training Process (Ryanair APS MCC only):

Stage 1 - Submit an application online

Stage 2 - Complete a Ryanair online pre-assessment test

Stage 3 - Complete the Ryanair Mentored APS MCC

Stage 4 - Ryanair Type Rating Assessment

Course Structure (Both Ryanair/Whitetail):

16 hours of CBT training

40 hours of theoretical classroom training

40 hours of simulator training + 20 hours of briefing a debriefing

Final APS MCC assessment

Minimum Requirements for Ryanair Mentored APS MCC:

Hold an EU passport with unrestricted right to live and work in the EU or hold a valid UK passport

Valid EASA CPL(A)/Skills Test Paperwork

Valid ME/IR(A) /Skills Test Paperwork

EASA ATPL theory completed

Valid EASA Medical Class 1

ICAO English Level 4
-
Open to base opportunities across Europe and North Africa

UPRT certificate is not required, however this will be required at the final Ryanair Assessment
